Advanced Portable, Low-Cost Development Tool SuperTAP is the third-generation of Applied's patented CodeTAP* emulator. CodeTAP emulators are designed to give embedded engineers the debugging functions they use most, such as software and hardware breakpoints and modification of memory and processor registers--all in a low-cost, small-footprint device.
Advanced Feature Set, the new SuperTAP Advanced Development Tool adds high-performance features such as a real-time 64K deep real-time trace buffer (including address, data, processor status, and time-stamp) target monitoring, selectable triggering, 1 MB of zero wait-state overlay memory and high-speed communications. Support for popular compilers and hosts helps SuperTAP fit easily into development environments. The SuperTAP Advanced Development Tool includes the CAD-UL XDB Debugger, linker and locator.
